The short version: We use a small number of cookies. Some are strictly necessary to keep the store working — they sign you in, remember your cart and let you check out — and these do not need your consent. Others (preferences, analytics and marketing) are only set if you agree through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time. Blocking cookies in your browser is always possible, but blocking the necessary ones will break the cart and checkout.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember things between pages and visits — like the items in your cart or whether you are signed in. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work the same way, and we treat them under the same rules described here.
The categories we use
We group cookies into four categories. Only the first is set automatically; the rest are set only with your consent.
Strictly necessary — no consent required
These make the store function and cannot be switched off. They handle your session, keep items in your cart, let you log in and check out securely, and protect the site. WooCommerce sets the cart and session cookies that make shopping and checkout possible, and Cloudflare sets a security cookie that helps tell real visitors from malicious traffic — both are strictly necessary. Because these are essential to a service you have asked for, they do not require consent.
Functional / preferences — consent required
These remember choices you make to give you a smoother experience — for example a language or display preference, or that you have already dismissed a notice. They are not essential, so we set them only if you consent.
Statistics / analytics — consent required
These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and where things could work better — so we can improve the store. The data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally. We set analytics cookies only if you consent.
Marketing — consent required
These would be used to measure or tailor marketing, for example to understand which campaign brought you to us. We only set marketing cookies if you consent, and if we are not running such activity, none are set.
How long cookies last
Durations vary by purpose. Session cookies — including the cart and login session — are deleted when you close your browser. Others, such as the record of your cookie choices or analytics identifiers, persist for a set period (typically from a few days up to around a year) before they expire or are refreshed. Where a third party such as Cloudflare or our analytics provider sets a cookie, its duration follows that provider’s configuration.
How to change or withdraw your consent
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline the non-essential categories. You can reopen those preferences at any time to change or withdraw your choice — withdrawing consent stops the relevant cookies going forward.
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser settings, where you can block or delete cookies for this or any site. Please note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies will break core features — in particular the cart and checkout will not work, and you may not be able to stay signed in.
